Hungarian Baja

The summer trial of the FIA Cross Country Rally championship takes us to the Hungarian land, the appointment for the warm August holidays brought the colorful caravan in a very suggestive and engaging environment like that of Pope to the north of Lake Balaton. The caravan of the world has been facing a very special test, thanks to a new track designed by the organization and thanks to the changing weather conditions in a few hours in fact it has gone from heat to cold, from the sun to the rain. Depending on the areas of the route, mud and dust were the main features of the Hungarian Baja 2014. The event began on Thursday, with technical and administrative checks, a total of 70 competitors, including motorcycles, cars, quads and trucks , they started fighting, starting with the first 55km long Friday trial, which began in the afternoon and ended at night for the last crews, under a constant rain and in the mud of the Hungarian countryside.
The day of Saturday was very demanding, in fact the whole race took place on the course of this day, with two special stages to be repeated twice, the first in the Papa area, with a very fast track characterized by slopes between fields and woods, a beautiful ford and of course a lot of mud, but the wide passages have favored the fun of the trucks. The second 98km long special test took place entirely in the area of Vesprem, with most of the track in a military area, where the landscape was quite lunar and obviously where navigation has become even more important.
